I like the way Alyssa Sheinmel writes women with mental health issues. She got me to gasp at the Major Plot Point, which is not easy. And I like that at the end Ellie is not "fixed," she is just on a steadier path towards healing. But was it something that floored me? Not exactly. It's good, it just doesn't have an It Factor.
