same as the last two, still lots of fun - even though this book lowkey stresses me out (I don’t know why) and that one chapter/scene destroyed Josh’s whole character for me, there’s no way to forgive that
this book I don’t even know where to start! This is the best book of the series so far. Until I read the last book, this book is it for me.
In the first book, when Jules was introduced, I didn’t like her. I’m not sure why it’s just like I think it was when they were planning the little phase operation thing to get Alex to show some emotion or whatever, sheshe just rubbed me the wrong way, and I just didn’t like her, it wasn’t like hate or anything. I just don’t like people like that and she was basically pushing Ava to do this stuff and she didn’t wanna do it but she obviously did it anyway but I mean yeah.
But this book?!? within the first few chapters of her, I liked her instantly. Like I don’t know what kind of mind tricks the author put in his book, what kind of drugs but I did a whole 180 from her from the first book to now, like I don’t know I don’t know what it is. Also with Josh I didn’t really think much of him in the first book. I just thought of him as a concerned older brother that’s it. But like the things he was saying in his book? The mouth on this man oh my God please help me. I was giggling and blushing, kicking my feet. I just really love the way they progress throughout this book through their dislike and hate for each other to falling so hard and fast the lies on Jules part, and the cruelty on Josh’s part, it was a lot.
This was the first book in the series to make me cry. They’ve both been through so much in their lives, and I think with everything coming to the light it just really got to me. With that being said, they’re the best couple in the series, and this is my favorite book until I read the last book.
