Ah this book was everything I needed. The banter was fantastic, the spice, the tension. THE LOVE. Ahh it was so so good. Jules and Josh are so far my favorite couple in this whole series. And even tho his wasn’t my favorite book, I loved the glimpses I saw of Alex in here even more too.
I legit read this in one sitting cause I clearly have no self control, but this was just that good I have no regrets!

I started off loving this book, loving the dynamic. Unfortunately I feel Josh went too far to be redeemed in my eyes. I'm scunnered with him after what came out of his mouth tbh.

edit: soooo... i've been waiting for this ever since i first read twisted love. i'd loved the dynamic between Jules and Josh & their back and forth bantering and immediately wanted a book about them. then i was disappointed the next book was Bridget's and not Jules' but i loved it nonetheless.
and then came this book. i was SUPER DUPER MUPER FUPER (just add "uper" to every letter lol) excited. i waited for this book like crazy and it did not disappoint... well VERY tiny bit which is why i took out 0.5. i kind of expected more "hate" from Jules & Josh and MORE BANTER. honestly their banter in the first book was really good BUUUUTTT it was still fricking amazing. i loved it so much. alsooo the smut scenes? holllllyyyyy wow. i think this book had the best smut scenes compared to twisted love & games. imma go back and reread them once, twice... hundred times again. Josh freaking Chen can... do anything to me and i'll say thank you.

did not like this book. both FMC & MMC hella annoying. wanted to DNF but was buddy reading this book. i liked the other series from Ana Huang a lot better than this one. will not continue reading this series.
