Anbefales!
Another book with a child narrator, kind of dreamy with interesting characters. Tells the story of a dysfunctional family through a child's eyes, shining a different light on family and relationships. I enjoyed this one up until the ending, which I just didn't entirely understand.
A quick read, told from the perspective of the youngest daughter. I found the story depressing and wondered at the end if there was any hope at all. Not a Christmas story to be reread. 2 stars because I finished it.

This felt like a solid 4 star read until the ending. I wanted just a little more clarity as to what actually happened.
Loved it! I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was phenomenal!
Loved the open ending and the echoes to the little match girl. Overall I was hooked!

This book started off strong. It was well written and clearly highlighted the struggles that families face when someone is suffering from addiction as well as the loyalty children have to their parents. However, the style of writing/genre in the last quarter of the book took a turn for the worse and I found the ending to be too open ended.
