Reading this after being assaulted made my anger more potent. Well done, Rebecca Traister. Thank you for encourage and fanning my anger, when those around me tell me to be quiet and move on.

Made me feel seen

Loved the topic and the information, and it made me angry all over again, I just thought it was hard to follow at some points and the organization showed she wrote it in a hurry.

This book is so necessary. It was clear and powerful and well researched, and everything in it just reinforced all the things I've been angry about, and rightly so. I think every woman who cares about what's going on in the world should read it, and for that matter, every man too.

A detailed look at how public personas of different genders are treated differently. The author focuses on the expression of anger by women how it is expressed, treated and the effect it produces. An insightful book.

Being mad is correct. Being mad is American. Being mad can be joyful and productive and connective. Don’t ever let them talk you out of being mad again.

I love this author, but the writing in this was not as objective as this her previous books. I liked it and learned some things about anger, but I wanted it to be more clear in it's path through the subject was a bit slower and possibly more balanced.

Yup, I'm mad. Pissed off. Enraged. Fuming.
And it's good and healthy.

This is a very important book and young woman need to read it now!

🎧Listened to this book via audible after listening to Soraya Chemaly’s Rage Becomes Her. The two books complement each other beautifully.
