A book about the revolutionary power of women's anger, and all the very good reasons they have to be angry about the institutionalized patriarchy and misogyny that undergirds so much of our world. Definitely worth reading!

As someone who struggles to embrace anger, I can’t say this book entirely comfortable to read. It is challenging. It is meant to be. It doesn’t hold back. And given that the entire focus of this book is on the historical and current perspectives on women’s anger, something we’ve been encouraged to suppress for the sake of being “feminine” I’d say the fact that is it is at times unrelenting in its honesty means it was successful at meeting its goals. Highly recommend. Just maybe don’t speed read it like I did. This is a great book to sit with, reflect, and discuss with your friends.

So. It got me mad. I couldn't read it before bed, or my mind would be spinning. I feel even more anger towards those who voted for Trump (AGAIN!!!), and even more anger towards him and all the white men who (try to) run this country while simultaneously sexually harassing women.
