I read the blurb for this and I love a good Dark Bully Romance, add in the fact that it’s RH and I’m so down!! It wildly exceeded my expectations!
Before I get into it I wanted to mention I love the “Heathers” and “Carrie” references and feels in this book!!
Okay, so I finished this in around 3 hours (I am a fast reader and it was also so captivating) and it was a mind fuck and I am completely amazed/confused/aroused/obsessed and now have a book hangover. Its so different from your normal dark RH Bully it’s honestly like nothing I’ve read before and every time I thought I knew what was going on I was wrong!! Omg. This is the first time I’ve read a book of Steffanies and I am officially a fan!! I’m dying for the next book!

5 stars for creativity, I certainly didn’t see that ending coming. It became clear as the story progressed that something paranormal was in play but I’d have never guessed that.
This cover is really stunning. Definitely not something you’d expect to see on a paranormal, bully romance. Though there hasn’t been any romance to speak of.
I’m not a big fan of this budding harem either. I can tolerate Quinn more than Trey and Ayez but just barely.
I do love a good bully romance but there are tons of them and most of them aren’t good. When I find a good one it’s like finding a gem.
I like the originality of this story this my high rating but her harem needs to get their shit together. It’d be nice to see some actual romance too.
This definitely reads more YA than NA.

I refuse to keep reading a book when the girl just goes wild for someone who abuses her.
Hmm. Well the idea of the school is interesting and certainty mysterious. However, I just don’t like the main character. Hazel acts like a domestic violence victim continually going back to her tormentor. She’s supposed to be some tough Philly girl but that’s not actually how the storyline plays out. It’s not realistic. I just couldn’t get into it and won’t be reading anymore of these books.

So I don't often read romance books, let alone bully reverse harem romance books. I jumped into this with absolutely no expectations of liking it all. But with weird stuff happening, a cult and lots of weird noises, this book took me by surprise. Definitely continuing the series.
