I started in 2023 and DNF. I picked it up again just now (August 2025) just i could see how bad it was. Unfortunately if you have spent your teenage years reading wattpad and AO3 fanfictions, you can't shake the feeling that this would've been better as an online fanfic than a real book printed on real paper. It holds absolutely every cliché you can think of. If cliché are you thing, have a go at it. If you like better structured, plotted and written novels, save your the hassle. I am never this harsh with books but I genuinely did not like this series (Priest and Sinners. I haven't read Saint and don't think I will).

Thank you Sierra Simone for the beautiful way you described Zenny hair, skin and eyes. The satin pillow case, shoot the whole pillow case conversation was perfection!!! I love this type of representation. This Black girl (aka me) was in tears from the way Sean talked about Zenny. I could really see myself in this character. And I won't forget about Zenny for a while.

Satin pillowcases, shower caps and lotion, the research the author clearly put into this book chef's kiss!

Sean made me realize that I will be single forever since no real man will ever compare to the fictional ones
