Didn't entirely like how almost each chapter had an awesome event happening, but then bam, it was over before we could find out anything. Like the author forgot to write the ending for each chapter.
I am really curious about Sally, hopefully we will find out about her more soon.

My son is OBSESSED. As an adult reading these aloud I find the chapters a bit disjointed and almost as if they're individual short stories, but it usually loops around. Either way, my 5 year old loves the pictures and the characters. He tells me he would like to give this book 101 stars.

I am a fan of this early reader series because my 6-year-old son loves them. These are the first chapter books he wants to read. As a parent I don't love that vegetables are bad guys, but my son finds this quite amusing.

Not my favorite in the series, but my stepson loved it. All of the Captain Awesome books are fun to read aloud, and I love an excuse to use my superhero reading voice.

A fun read with my 5-year-old. He's enjoying the Captain Awesome series.
