This was a really good book. I don't normally read books with military protagonists, but I made an exception because I've really enjoyed other books by this author, and I'm glad I read it. Lots of good single dad/kid content. Good relationship between the MCs. I loved watching Ty grow more comfortable in his hometown. Enjoyed and would reread if there's an audio version!

Theo and Henry were the best parts.
this book was cute but i will say it was very boring. i enjoyed the progression of ollie and ty’s relationship but i felt like there wasn't much of a climax. they really didn't have any defining moments or angst- their relationship didn't have any interesting challenges. it took me way longer to finish this book than i was expecting and i think it’s because it just wasn't holding my attention.
