Although I probably didn't like this one as much as the first, I still really enjoyed it! I love McManus' writing - her characters are so fleshed out and the mystery is so compelling. Definitely lived up to my anticipation!

I want more!

This book was definitely a page turner like the first one called One of us is Lying. I loved how both books put you in today’s generation shoes with how big technology is and sometimes when you’re young and in high school you feel like all your minor problems are such a huge issues but when you grow you realize that none of that matters and life goes on. This was really exciting and every time it was a different character narrating I would be thrown off on who I thought it was spreading the rumors and who was the murderer. 10 out of 10!

I liked it but not as much as the first one. Loved the new characters added. Maeve and Knox were really likable and a great addition. And it was pleasant to see the previous cast as supporting characters in this one. But I felt the plot a little lacking. It was quite predictable and not as high stakes as the last one. Not even halfway through I could predict the ending. I enjoyed it and will continue the series if the author comes up with more books.

So worth the long anticipated wait!

It was interesting to return to Bayview and see the characters again, but the relationship drama of Bronwyn and Nate was annoying and felt thrown in just to add conflict. I really liked getting to know Luis better. The plot twist at the end got me, and I hope it's explored or ateast discussed in Book 3.
