Pollard has managed to take a collective experience and create a novel that feels both familiar and new. By linking each short chapter to a prophetic tradition, the COVID lockdown is connected to antiquity, creating modern mythology.

Delphi wholly captured my attention the moment I opened the first page. I’ve always been interested in the classics and the occult, although I’m not completely knowledgeable about it all.  So, this book was right up my alley. The look back on the thick of the pandemic was a trip for sure, especially since here it’s in the POV of the UK. Truly a treasure considering the times. Definitely recommend.
