I think fans of All Creatures Great and Small or Mitford will really enjoy this series. I wasn't terribly invested in the characters, but it delivers the small town doctor anecdotes one would expect.
So charming....will definitely read the others in the series. Great characters and storytelling!

This was a very enjoyable audiobook, nothing too heavy or excessively dramatic. I think I’ll have to look into the rest of the series.

It was the perfect book to read after The Art of Racing in the Rain and Izzy and Lenore! It happened to arrive just before my favorite holiday I love Patrick Taylors writing! It was as if they, the good doctors were living next door! I love, love, love Kinky's recipe for Famine Potato Soup!

Pleasant no-stress cozy read. Not a lot of plot. As others have mentioned, very much like Herriott's books.
