This is a series I'm working my way through. I love these books. The language is fun and really makes you feel like you're in Ireland.
This was not my usual type of book, but I found it to be lovely. I've laughed out loud more than once. It's clear that having his medical license is not nearly enough to make Barry Laverty a true country doctor. The story is full of amusing anecdotes and creates the picture of a charming Irish country village in the mid 1960's.

My mom loaned me this, and so far I am really enjoying it.
Omg! What a cute book. Definitely a fun relaxing read to kick back and escape. I could read this one again. Thinking about reading more in the series.
