I expected a cheesy plot, but on top of that all the characters are terrible, especially the females. I was basically rooting for the shark by the halfway point of the book.
Was a good book but just rambled too long for my tastes.
Loved it! Better in many areas than the movie was. It’s a lot of fun and doesn’t take a long time to read.

It got a bit nuts by the end, but it was a fun ride. It was also much more informative than I expected. If I had to choose between this and Jaws (the book), I enjoyed this much more.
