In this delightful volume the writing duo of C. Flynt offer breezy fun short stories of adventure accompanied by crafts at the end of each tale. I picked this up because I have enjoyed hearing Flynt's stories in anthologies published by Atthis Arts press like As Told By Things.

I've also had the pleasure of hearing Clif Flynt read aloud at Ohio fandom conventions from his comical short stories for adults, usually those starring a lawyer dealing with the supernatural named Hieronymous Glyph the Alchemist-at-Law.

All the stories in You're Not From Around Here Are You? were short and fast-paced, imaginative, and highly entertaining---whether it was about a girl trying to escape a faerie realm, a young dog owner confronting an inept alien invader, or a romp through a Chinese festival with a mysterious child who declares her name is "Stop that!"

The quick-thinking child narrators seemed authentic to me, and the crafts were fun, and I cannot wait to gift this to my twelve-year-old niece!
