Il miglior libro della serie dedicata a Cormoran Strike finora, e uno dei migliori in assoluto della Rowlings. Oltre 1.100 pagine che scorrono velocemente, ad un ritmo serrato, senza un attimo di noia né di calo di interesse, anzi, ho fatto davvero molta fatica a staccarmene. Una storia intricata, coinvolgente, drammatica e allucinante, resa ancora più agghiacciante dal fatto che situazioni del genere purtroppo sono reali. Nota di colore, finalmente ci siamo liberati della presenza tossica di Charlotte.

The best book in the Cormoran Strike series so far, and one of Rowlings' best ever. Over 1,100 pages that flow quickly, at a fast pace, without a moment of boredom or loss of interest, in fact, I really struggled to put it down. An intricate, engaging, dramatic and hallucinating story, made even more chilling by the fact that situations like this are unfortunately real. Color note, we finally got rid of Charlotte's toxic presence.

I friggin love this series. The lengths of the books are a bit intimidating, but I love spending time with the characters and following their process as they solve another crime. I wish the eighth book was already out.
