“The Running Grave” by Robert Galbraith
🕵🏽♂️Well, it was one more utterly adorable page-turner in this detective novel series.
🕵🏽♂️The Plot: We follow Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott. This time, the private detective and his business partner are contacted by a worried father whose son, Will, has gone to join a religious cult. In order to save Will, Robin decides to infiltrate this cult and live among them incognito. The more she lives there, the more dangerous it becomes.
🕵🏻♀️The Writing Style: As well as the previous books in this series, this one is absolutely mind-blowing, captivating, twisty, and totally appealing. This detective novel is, as usual, cleverly written and grabs attention from the first lines. “The Running Grave” is one more vivid, profound, witty, and suspenseful Strike Novel.
🕵🏻♀️The Characters: As usual, there are a lot of characters in this novel, but all the main characters and the supporting ones are depicted adorably in all aspects. I feel emotionally connected to the main characters as always, and worried about some of the supporting characters. I truly loved how the relationship between the main characters develops against the backdrop of the tense, captivating, intriguing, and dark events.
🕵🏽♂️My Fave Quote: “Some mysteries were eternal and unresolvable by man, and there was a relief in accepting that, in admitting it. Death, love, the endless complexity of human beings: only a fool would claim to fully understand any of them.”
🤍Would I read other books by this author: Absolutely yes!
🤍My humble rating is: 5/5
📖I do hope you’ll savor this book as much as I did!
🙏🏼Anyway, thank you so much for dropping by and reading this review.
📖Stay safe, take care, and happy reading!
