It’s cute and silly but honestly, I couldn’t really relate to a lot of the jokes. Even some, like picking up your child from a sleepover, did not relate to me but were relatable and funny. I was expecting more of your typical relationship squabbles such as deciding what is for dinner or chores or sex. Not random things that I did not even understand. It seemed more as something they wrote between friends and I was an outsider not understanding the inside joke.

Cute but very thin on content even for the size of the book. Would make a cute engagement gift, to justify paying for a hardcover; you can read it gently before wrapping it.

I feel bad counting this towards my Goodreads goal. The book might be funnier if you're middle class and above, and above 40 years old. Cute book nonetheless.

This book was exactly what I needed on this dreary Monday morning. I wonderful combination of humor and truths had me smiling the entire time. I could feel myself chucking and nodding along to some of the "tips" and shaking my head but still laughing at others. I think this would make a great gift for a partner if they see the humor in it; I definitely will be showing this to my husband because I know he has a similar sense of finding humor even in the truthful bits. Even the forward had me smiling. The drawings were wonderful and I definitely can see myself picking up this book and flipping through it from time to time.
