Derek je hotovej Jekyll a Hyde, na začátku jsem chtěla Chloe aspoň padesátkrát mrdnout po hlavě a Simon opět až moc dokonalej. Ale i tak tuhle duchařinu zbožňuju.

I read this book years ago with my oldest daughter, it's one of the series that got me back into reading and down my reading rabbit hole. I love the supernatural aspect, the whole family secrets build to Chloe, Simon, Derek and Tori's adventures getting to the bottom of the Edison group.
I have this whole series and continued with the Darkness Rising.

I love the building friendship they develop with their growing to know each of their powers. A lot of young adult books make the teenagers seem too grown for their age to try to fit it into a criteria I suppose of making sense in an adult world but Kelley Armstrong doesn't do that. They are teenagers taking on this huge world and still remain true to their age group.

I wouldn't recommend the audiobook to this however, I tried to listen to it because I was in the mood to get into the story again but the narrator they chose sounded like a 5 year old and made for the story to be unbearable. If you are into supernatural, magic, and a world of mystery and a secret society that unfolds through every book, this is the series for you.

It's a series I have read quite a few times and continue to do so. Love it :)

I enjoyed this! I have to say I liked it more than the first, which is surprising since the second books aren’t always my favorite. It was a super fast and easy read. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the last book and finally finishing this series.

The one wasn't as compelling as the first one. It seemed to kind of lag or just set up a lot of stuff for the third book. Basically it was jus a lot of travelling. I hope that the third book gets better

I finished this book in 2 quick sittings. I absolutely loved it. Some things were kind of creepy but I loved that too. I just knew this series was gonna rock after I got through the first one. I have to say I wasn't expecting a book with a werewolf though. It all goes together, so I'm not complaining.

I enjoyed this book, I just didn't love it as much as the first one. Much of this book seemed unnecessary, to continue the story. They end up in these crazy situations only to escape unscathed. Some of the situations just seemed like a way to fill chapters. I enjoyed that Derek and Chloe had more alone time together, I like their relationship and think it's age appropriate. I can't stand Tori, but I get it, their needs to be a brat. However she could have killed Chloe in the first book and except for the couple times her powers comes in handy, I can't see why they wouldn't just dump her. All in all, it was a decent read and I'll finish the series because I need to know how it ends.

I really liked this story a lot with its mystery of who is still alive among the good guys, what's their next plan and are they about to get caught again. I think the possible relationship between Chloe and Simon is cute but it's too predictable. I rather it be between Chloe and Derek since they're able to relate to each other more. When I picture that, it also seems more cute. Lol. I do hope that everything ends with a really good happily ever after for everyone in the 3rd and final book.
