I just could not get into it. I did not enjoy the story or how it was written. I kept getting distracted while reading because I was just not feeling the story. However, people
do really like this book so I would say just see for yourself if you would read it.

This was a soap opera of a book and there's nothing wrong with that. New drama on every page is a perfectly fine way to write a tale and it scratches a certain itch. This is the kind of book I read when I want to mostly shut my brain off and relax. My main reason for the three-star rating is that the plot felt too contrived for my tastes. That's mostly my thoughts on the ending which was, well, let's just say it felt unfulfilling and leave it at that.
Still the writing is fine and I found the character's struggles interesting. If this is your genre of choice, you'll probably love it. I certainly don't think this was a waste of time, it's just not a story that I ever see myself revisiting.

Needs to be more concise with ideas that matter to the story. Not everything that just pops into her head. Could have been better.
I know this is insensitive and not empathetic but I thought most of the characters on this book were really pathetic and it was too much for me.
