Listened on audio and I loved the narrator. Her voice is still in my head and I think this was definitely part of the positive experience for me. I don't like stories about men having affairs... it's a trigger and just not for me. Why did I read a book called The Husband's Secret??? I don't know. But I'm glad I did because this was an intriguing ride. I liked the different POVs. It was set up in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat. I cared what happened to the characters and I didn't mind their flaws, because I can understand it. I guessed at some of the twists... but that didn't take away from the story. I liked the way it came full circle.

REVIEW FOR FUTURE ME WHEN I FORGET THAT I EVEN READ THIS BOOK:
Sometimes in life things don’t work out. For you, it will always be running. For Liane, it was writing this book. Was this published in the 90s?! It had some truly horrifying subplots. It was incredibly fatphobic. It was super incel-vibes. It was patriarchal. There was TOO MUCH TUPPERWARE CHAT. The actual storyline was quite good, but there was entirely too much bullshit surrounding it. Tess gets Worst on Ground. No thanks.

Great read! Would definitely recommend. This book makes you realize that everything happens for a reason, but also that everything that doesn't happen is for a reason as well.
This might just be my favourite book by the author yet.

I read this twice. It took me a couple chapters to remember it the second time. I kept reading it though because the story is engaging and the characters have good depth to them.
3.75/4. I had a really hard time getting into this for the first 1/3 but once things picked up I really enjoyed it. There are many different view points and it all comes together at the end. There were many things I didn’t see coming. The overall theme is that we have no idea how the little choices we make will effect the rest of our lives and the lives of those around us.
