I liked it, it was a fast read. The writing was ok and the book was a bit predictable. Sometimes I got a little confused with her rambling. And I didn't understand the whole Berlin Wall...was that just another thing that connected the three women? I didn't like the Connor storyline. I felt like he really got the shaft and was actually rooting for him and Tess. But I thought the last paragraph of the book tied the book together well and showed that everyone has secrets
Wow. Liane's books are always superb and so cleverly woven together. I absolutely flew through this book and loved every second of it. She has become a new favorite author of mine and I will continue to read all of her books.
SHOOK!!!! I could have never seen that final plot twist coming it really tied the book together in such a complicated way that made me love this book. I am recommending this to everyone!

I’ve never had a book that made my mouth hang open for ten minutes in utter shock because I wasn’t expecting something that happened. But this book did that. It was hands down one of the best books I’ve read!
i just love moriarty’s writing and her almost messy way of telling a story. we get to see a lot about many characters and absolutely feel for them. i do think you have to read these books over a short span of time as not to forget about the characters’ backstories.
but what made the story a five stars for me were the sentences about ”what if’s”. how small choices and minor happenings could change the rest of our lives without us knowing.

The storytelling and content were off putting for the duration of the book, I was nearly unable to finish it. While the ending leaves the reader with plenty to chew on, the book itself does disservice to these themes. Petty drama, that is frankly uninteresting, and selfish characters are a boring distraction to the ultimately redeeming themes: How does circumstance influence our ability to find truth? How valuable is the truth in terms of living a happy life?
Lots if unexpected plots... But for someone who reads slow and gets interrupted a lot it took some concentration to keep all the characters and overlapping storylines... But good overall !
I really enjoyed this novel, it was slightly heart wrenching at times and I felt a little emotional drained at the end but it was a beautifully constructed piece of writing.
