I figured out the secret near the beginning of the book but thank goodness the story is not just about the revealing of the secret, but rather about how the secret affects all of the main characters. Very well-written book. It seems that Moriarty really spent the time to think about each character and how their part of their story played out. The last chapter of the book was excellent.
