It was too predictable. I felt like I was always one step ahead of the author. I do enjoy Moriarty's writing style though.

It's strange to think that I disliked the first chapter of this book so much that I almost wrote it off as appalling chick-lit and stopped reading it. The deeper I got into the book, the more consumed I was by it and I've read most of it in the past 24 hours. Really good.

Oh...my...goodness...

I absolutely loved this book! I started it on Sunday evening and finished it by Tuesday morning, I could not put it down. The book centres around 3 women:
Rachel who lost her daughter years ago and doesn’t know who killed her. Cecilla who has a successful Tupperware company and thinks she has the perfect family life. Tess whose husband has just told her that he’s in love with her cousin.
Cecilla finds a letter written to her by her husband but only to be opened in the event of his death. The husband isn’t dead but she decides to open it anyway and BOOM secrets spill out.
Highly recommend and I’m going to read more from this author.

It's a great story, a great read & particularly great ending. If it was the first Liane Moriarty book I'd read I'd have given it 5 stars but it was so much like 'Big Little Lies' I had to keep checking that I was definitely reading a different book. All the characters were so similar, the same mums, the same kids it seemed, the same school playground & pta's. The leading lady is practically identical plus the plot of a hushed up secret murder is the same too. That really takes the biscuit and feels she is taking us all for mugs just to sell another book. Is she a one trick pony or have I been unlucky in the two I have chosen to read??
