I gave it two stars because I cared enough to finish it. The writing was pretty awful, so awkward and choppy. The pacing and transitions between scenes were abrupt and sometimes confusing. And the dialogue was laughably unrealistic and cliched. Overall, this book felt like a made for TV movie from the late 90's.

The concept for the plot isn't bad. It was just very poorly executed.

An interesting read from the first page! What happens if you accidentally kill someone who’s in the road on a rainy night AND you are both stoned and drunk? Would you turn yourself in? I read this blindly forgetting what the summary said. And I’m glad I did! These types of plots always give me anxiety! Kat is in for some major trouble, and you’ll be dying to know if she can possibly get out of it! I read two whole books in a short day, and this was one of them. It’s so easy to leave, but it’s also gripping! Recommended!

I have never been so annoyed by a main character before this book. Kat was whiny and weak, and was acting helpless most of the book. I wanted to shake her and tell her to snap out of it! Just…meh. It was a quick read but I found myself glossing over sections just so I could finish it without poking a fork into my eye from the frustration.

Really enjoyed this fast paced thriller. Was really angry and frustrated with Eve!! Liked the ending.

While this book is predictable as the other reviews say, it didn't take away from the suspense and enjoyment I had while reading it. Couldn't put it down and read the whole thing in two sittings.

This book is a true edge-of-your-seat, page turning thriller! How badly can one psycho mess with your entire life? In just about every aspect of it!! 5 stars, can’t wait to read other thrillers by this author !
