Bears reading a few times - I have a new appreciation for some parts (and an ongoing dislike of some other inferences).
it was good. build up was nice, and the torture scenes are insane. very fascinating read
4.7, it was a good read but no straight man thinks of another like winston did of o'brien.

that took almost 9 months to finish! i’m glad i did! i don’t know what to say i think it is funny what most people quote from here is “perhaps one did not want to be loved so much as understood” i would probably quote “you are the guardian of the human spirit. you shall see yourself as you are” that’s just me :-)
