I read this front to back and, like others have said, it's not really mean to be read that way. It's more of an encyclopedia that you're supposed to dip into. So, reading it the way I did made it quite repetitive. I kind of wanted the common myths to be grouped together instead of listed separately under different places.

That being said, it does give you an overall flavour of the legends that exist in different corners of the UK. For example, the myths in Ireland are very different to those of Cornwall. It's interesting to see the crossover as well though. Just don't go in expecting it to be exciting and adventurous - it can get a bit dry.
