D can't bear to go to Pemberley without E. The Gardners don't have time this summer to go all the way to Darbyshire. So D&E both end up (unknown to each other) in Brighton. When they happen upon each other on an out of the way beach they start the path back toward one another.

Darcy and Elizabeth meet up in Brighton. Drama and adventure ensue.
Loved this. Definitely recommend it.
