Engaging and did start off a little spooky. But likes how it all came together in the end with everything making sense. I did not see the twist with why the family left so suddenly, but it makes sense that they thought she killed her . I’m glad that

Not as good as only one left but definitely still good- I did have more suspicions about the twist in this one but that could be because I know the writing style now?

One of my favorite tropes in horror and the supernatural is a house with personality, a supposed haunted house. I found the author's insights into what makes a house "haunted" not so much different, but interesting nonetheless, and the overlapping stories that Sager tried to tell could have gotten overwhelming but was handled really well. All in all, I found it to be an enjoyable quick read!
