Thought provoking, hard hitting and just really good overall.

Good information and an interesting look at governmental and media abuse, but this book, like Stossel's other book, need an editing pass through it to tighten up the writing and correct some stylist errors.

I did get some pearls of wisdom and I believe I'm smarter (more informed?) than I was when I started this book, but Stossel deals in absolutes and made everyone on the other side of his arguments out to be idiots.

A non-media bent view on almost everything...very refreshing, especially for someone as politically bent as I am.

Like his segment on 20/20, his incredulous voice is audible on the page.

This was pretty good. I, of course, read everything with my handy grain of salt, but the book confirmed some things I already thought. It also opened my eyes to a few things. And made my eyes roll at a few others. The equality and education sections made me particularly angry (don’t get me started on education — really). It’s an entertaining read.
