The Fallen God's trilogy has been a really solid series from start to finish. I've really enjoyed this world with its unlikely heroes, found family and struggling protagonists.
In this final installment, the war that the series has been building towards finally comes. The pacing felt a bit off in the middle, but overall it was a rolling stone down a hill you just couldn't look away from. Again, I enjoyed every POV which is a really hard thing to achieve, and the way the author alternates them keeps you turning the pages with bated breath.
Ultimately, there were some plot points that I felt were both slightly too predictable and underwhelming to really feel as satisfying as they could have. However, enough of them do land with the emotion and the heart of the way these characters love each other that i barely cared about the ones that underwhelmed me. Every single interaction between these characters that we have come to know so well was just absolutely golden and I truly hope this isn't the last we've seen of them.

This was a good ending to the trilogy. I’m personally not a fan of when a group that was previously together separates completely, but the ending to this was really strong and made up for the weaker pacing in the beginning.
As a note, I keep seeing this series billed as LGBTQ+ then not - they all take place in a queer-normative world, but this is the only book of the trilogy that has the main characters involved in queer relationships themselves.
