Pretty good. However, I should have loved it more (Black classical music playing woman solving mysteries in Ireland)- a seemingly perfect match for me, but I probably won't keep going with the series. We'll see. In general I don't love cozies so
Fell asleep while listening to the audiobook and didn’t care about rewinding it.
A thoroughly enjoyable read if you like the cozy mystery genre, ghosts, and smart-talking female protagonists. Gethsemane Brown is my new favorite. She's witty and doesn't take crap from anyone.
I picked this book because it came up as a suggestion for 2018's Read Harder challenge 'A mystery by a person of color.' This is why I love the Read Harder challenge; I now have an intriguing new author to read.

The bulk of this book was a 4/4.5 star read for me. I really enjoyed it. The ending was more like 3/3.5 stars. Definitely like it enough that I’ll keep the book and probably read again one day.

So, passionate musicians, the Irish countryside, ghosts, shenanigans...what's not to love?!
I will confess, I wasn't too sure about this book when I first started it. Felt the opening was a tad awkward and rushed. But as the story unfolded I just couldn't help but be drawn into the delightful antics of Gethsemane Brown, maestra extraordinaire and her new life in Ireland.
Highly enjoyable. Can't wait to read more of Gethsemane and her delightful antics.

Another start to a cozy i actually very much enjoyed this one. I thought it might be more slower paced but it wasn’t.
