This book literally got me hooked reading. I am a sucker for grumpy/sunshine, broken with a past, billionaire romance. Especially when the man is a playboy only to have a woman come in and make him want to be better. My heart broke for Colton as he had All this built up anger and self doubt assuming no one could ever love him. He used s*X as an outlet thinking it would numb this empty feeling. But then he stumbled across Rylee who didn’t back down and didn’t put up with his BS. I know a lot of people may think their relationship is toxic but honestly it was at first but I feel like once he got past his past and began to heal from what his mother allowed him and Rylee were able to move forward as well. This still one of my favorite reads and will forever love Colton and Rylee. I also loved that it was turned into a movie series by Passionflix. If you haven’t read this download it now and if u haven’t watched it on Passionflix go watch it now as well. ❤️

The push and pull in this book was really good. I liked that part of it. What I didn't like was that no matter how many mixed signals he sent or how much of an ass he was to her, Rylee seems to completely forget it every time Colton is in her general vicinity. One sentence Rylee would rationally accept that he was pushing her away. Then the next sentence she was weak in the knees. That bothered me. But it was still a decent story.

For me, it was an obvious fan fiction of FSoG, which I didn’t love to begin with. Simply not my cup of tea.

Sexy race car driver that has a special connection with kids in foster care. yes

Didn't finish this book, not for me.

Emotionally fucked up characters? Check.

Oh my, I've got a new addiction. I loved this book and couldn't wait to start the next one. I love Rylee! So much! And Colton, oh, that bad boy who is so good for her. I love it when I fall in love with the first book in a series and know I have two more books with these characters.

IT wasnt terribly bad, but not great either. with that cliffie i have no choice but to read the next. i really hate when this is done in books, the author really gives us no choice but to continue. because the first book alone is really not enough to decide if i like it or not. it was really vague, obviously we know Colton has mad issues but is it really necessary to wait untill the next book to find out? I dont think the girl was too annoying at all, i think it was just stupid to go back and forth for so long between them too. it was really a waste of chapters, pro longing it. i got a very very Fifty shades, mixed with crossfire feel to it. OH MY, OH FRICKEN MY, and YOU CONSUME ME. they typical catty bitch that has always been there for him, shes 'different' see really nothing different going on. but i wanna know more. so like i said, not terrible but it def wasnt great. everyone loves the second the most so i hope i do to :P

It took a while to get started but it is a really nice story, bit predictable and took a few twists from other authors but main characters kept it alive.
