I barely remember reading this book. Cat is a ballerina mafia princess. Lorenzo is a mafia boss. He stalks her a little. Honestly, I don’t remember much and I don’t think I cared for it.

She lost me when the mfc was wearing sneaker wedges and the mmc used the word ‘dope’. And not in reference to drugs. 🤦🏼♀️

Claire Contreras is so talented. I just love her books so much. This book can definitely be added to the list. This was dark, sexy and fun. I loved it. I can't wait for the next one.

I read Claire’s latest book and thought I’d go through her back list and read also! I’m so very glad I did. I love some mafia romance and I love Cat and Lorenzo start to finish. Such a good read!

this was okay. i started this series because i really loved one of claire contreras other books, but this one just didn't hit. i don't know if it was because it's a mafia romance or what since i don't usually like mafia romances. don't get me wrong, there was a lot of plot twists in this that i didn't see coming at all and i couldn't dnf because i was intrigued, but there were times when i just couldn't get myself to read it haha.
there are other books in the series and this one has the lowest rating so maybe just this one flopped. i don't know haha. im gonna read the others in the series but probably not right away. hoping it gets better as i go on!

I love Loren and Cat together but I didn’t really care for much of the rest of it. It was definitely entertaining and at one point I thought I might not finish but instead just read the entire thing in one sitting.
There are a few spelling/ editing errors that bothered me but might not be annoying to anyone else.

Fast paced Mafia romance that follows Catalina and Lorenzo. Overall great story but found myself more interested in the side characters - Emma, Dean, Violeta, Gio???? Can't wait to read their stories!

I love this author.. This story was really good but very confusing. At chapter 8 I had to go back to the beginning.. I was confused about the teacher. It should have stated that Lorenzo was just a substitute in ch 2 instead of later on. There was just too much going on with too many people for me to give this a better rating.. Pay close attention when you read it. Very rare for me to have to go back and re read something..
