This book was exciting, I really liked the ballet and mob aspects. In the beginning it was a bit choppy and I had to re read several pages to keep up with who was who and how they related to the main characters. I really love Catalina. I enjoyed that she was a older dancer, that she was strong had been through a lot. I liked that she was a twin and how she was with her siblings. I hope to get more from this world that Claire has created.

Meh
Insta lust to insta love. Too many plot twists, barely any plot used to string together okay sex scenes.

Lots of coded racism in how the characters talk about “gangs” verse “organized crime.”

Mafia romance follows a mafia daughter that didn’t know her father was a head figure and wants nothing to do with that lifestyle. Cat is a likable enough MC but Lorenzo is a KING. Even though he lowkey was wrong for tracking her down and lying, I am giving him a free pass because I feel like it. He gives everything that you would want in a protective, ‘burn the world’ for her man. Live laugh Loren.
