Definitely better than book 1 of the series. If you’re into reverse harem, this series is worth a quick listen/read.

This was a February book club pick and definitely not my jam. I made it to 82% before I had to pause. I might go back and finish it, but I need to be in the right headspace for immortal man tantrums and excessive shadow whining.

There's some solid spice and a dark fantasy setup, but the angst level was a bit much for me at the time. I got tired of him obsessing over his mother-effing shadow like it was a personality trait. It’s not a DNF, but it’s currently in time-out.

GAH, I saw it coming, but fuck if it still didn't piss me off. 😂

Winnie's become a part of this fucked up lil family, and I really like a good reverse harem series. She's got all those men wrapped around her lol fingers, even big bad 'Dark One' Vane. And I loved watching him surrender!!

This book gets spicier and darker, and ends on an even bigger cliffhanger than the first one. So clearly, I have to read the third one RIGHT NOW.

Wow! Loved the first one, devoured this second one! Dark, intense, broody and oh sooooo SPICY! The storyline is gripping and leaves you wanting more with each chapter. Diving straight into the third!
