Happy for you or sorry it happened I ain’t reading all that

weird. and super confusing.

Really enjoyed this! It was fun to read as a companion to WandaVision

A mix of stories held together by the overall House of M story arc. Much of the last third could be skipped entirely but the first half was pretty good.

I mostly read as a supplement to "Wanda Vision" show, mostly in hopes of picking up on Easter eggs as the show happens. I'll have to see how much pays off.
Because I don't read a lot of comics, I was mostly lost when it came to backstories in House of M. That's on me not the writers.
The artwork is excellent and compelling.

first of all: only took me three weeks to remember how to pick up a book.

second of all: yeah, i placed this on hold in january when i was deep in wandavision (i’m a source material kind of gal) & i’m glad dave & i have slowly started to watch x-men because otherwise i’d be like “whut”

This is among the best of the stories Bendis has written. Appropriately for a story about sorrow and madness and the twisting of reality, Bendis quietly pulls the rug out from under the reader with a subtly creepy touch on page 20, followed quickly by a wordless series of panels--beautifully drawn by Olivier Coipel and inked by Tim Townsend, among others--of Spider-Man on pp. 22 and 23, as he wanders from the rest of the superheroes and discovers--what? I won't spoil it here!

I had the book over Amazin Prime eReader subscription - The subscription ended and I could not finish it.

I didn't really like how this ended, it seemed like a huge build up to...nothing. I read this as a lead in to The New Avengers series, but really, I should have just read the wikipedia entry and moved on. That being said, there were a few enjoyable moments. While I could have left the Hulk and Captain Britian storylines behind, the New X men and Spiderman runs were lots of fun, even Doctor Doom had a good/ albeit sad conclusion. The main storyline was hit and miss, some good parts, but falling flat on its face in the end was a disappointing way to end an event that had so much promise.
