I don't understand how this guy goes into so many extreme situations where he doesn't so much as google "ultra marathon nutrition", for example. Aren't SEALs supposed to be prepared? If this is how our elite forces operate, I am concerned.

I related to the parts about being "the only" and I appreciated his explanation of the mentality that got him through hell week but the book was downhill from there.

This book is so inspiring and a the same time it can be harmful. Apart of to be so strong person mentally his success has a certain point of luck, let it be only 1%, because his hard work is unquestionable, but it truly can be never told story about Navy Seal who died during the Hell Week, like that guy... So push hard but respect your limits. -1 star, because of a lot of sexist narratives it was unpleasant to read.

I don’t know if I want to hang out with him, but we all know we don’t go nearly as big as we can. This book is a powerful reminder that we have so much more in us than we regularly tap. A huge call to action for every one of us.

This book goes HARD. Definitely a reread.

I like self help books when the author has actually gone through adversity, otherwise it's kinda bs:)

Stop what you're doing and read this book

This book is life changing. I won't say anything about it except, just read it. I promise you won't regret it.
