This book was so annoying. I struggled to keep myself reading. If it wasn't on my American Lit syllabus I probably would've DNFed it.

I hated the main character of this book. I didn't root for him through the entire book. He was so manipulative and selfish. The relationship he was in was so toxic because he was so controlling of her.

I hated the way women were portrayed in this novel, as submissive and unable to make their own choices. They were items for affection and love for men.

The main romance of this novel was suffocating and awful. They made mistakes and would always find a scapegoat. Neither one of the leads took any responsibility when consequences come for their actions.

I would give this book 0 out of 5 stars. Grade: F
