I found this book very very hard to get in to. The ending was a great twist and I think it made it the rest of the book click into place.

This book tries to be a mix between the hunger games and a court of thorns and roses, but really just falls flat. It’s an easy quick read but there are so many half assed story lines and half baked characters.

while it was enjoyable enough for me to finish the book, the world building and plot was very underdeveloped and i found myself confused throughout it often. i primarily read fantasy and struggled to understand what was ever happening in this book. the plot twist did not feel climactic and the romance and love interests felt one dimensional
