The pacing was a bit inconsistent, and if I had to take a shot for every time the narrator said “utmost,” I’d be hammered. But it was cool to hear the full story and contrast it with what I remember from the Ted Danson series I saw as a kid.
Can't believe I had to read about the Houyhnhnms with my own eyes for a class
This was a fun little journey (no pun intended). Outside of the obvious political satire and examination of human nature and social morays, it was just a creative story with a cheeky sense of humor. Could be a little boring at times, but most classics usually can. Fun read. Pretty good.
I don't know when the other thirds of the Classic Tales Podcast version of this novel will release, I may restart this when they do so.
