This issue was, as usual, amazing. I love Veronica so much. I can't wait for the next one!

Ronnie has really grown on me since the beginning. Sure, she can be a little bratty and pirivileged, but she tries. I get that I'm supposed to root for Archie and Betty, but she deserves more and Archie's struggle to compromise and better himself for Ronnie is really sweet. That scene in the grocery store is phenomenal.

I now see why Archie likes Veronica, I like how he helps her see the world and attempt to interact with it better, even if just with him. Mr.life's Archie proof gate is hilarious. Betty, noooooo. The almost kiss proves that Archie and Betty have things to work through, they didn't breakup, just stop talking to each other which leaves plenty to be said.

You know what I love about this reboot? All the characters are so incredibly human. With the originals, it's always been easy to love Betty, hate Ronnie, and not understand why either of them was in love with Archie.
But now I see the appeal of Archie Andrews (I mean, remember the first issue? hot damn)
Ronnie's not bad, actually. She tries. She loves Archie in her own way, and I respect her.
Betty's not a goody-two-shoes. She's human, with the capacity to be mean, just like the rest of us.
I LOVE THIS REBOOT.
