Liked it. Didn't love it. Sanderson gives his readers some top-notch world-building here, and I am still intrigued by the prospect of the whole "humans as the intergalactic bad guy" angle, but too much of this book felt like a rehash of the first one, just on a larger scale. And the Delvers just seem...unnecessarily complicated?... in their makeup.

I would have liked a bit of a smoother transition from Skyward, instead of the 6-month time jump/infodump of what we have learned since then. Instead, the universe opened up to a jarring degree, and I never quite adjusted from there.

Still, I am very much looking forward to book 3.
