“and I definitely have plenty of unfinished business”
This is heavy, and I love that it is heavy. It creates a familiar pang in my chest about self-worth and gender and the darkness that festers in all of us as adolescents and “newborn adult” girls and “half-girls” and those forced into a mold of something that never fit us.
