4.14 AVERAGE

Okay, the premise for this is a little ridiculous but I suppose internationally renowned art thieves can have average families too (though the Wilde family is anything but average lol).

This was a fun read with some great side characters.

Reading about King's life was interesting, as we always saw him as someone mysterious.
King has had a rough start in relationships and I loved how Dirk managed to give his trust to King even though he played the agent more than once.
There was a good action plot mixed well with romance.
There wasn't much about the grandpas here, but there were more parts with MJ.
lighthearted mysterious medium-paced

This was a plot heavy book. Unfortunately I had to suspend my disbelief with every twist and turn. It's children's book level of realism. I'm also not a fan of stories where the main characters cannot trust each other. I think some people find it exciting, but I find it uncomfortable. The writing is great. With the exception of the plot being unrealistic, Lennox has shown she can write plot heavy stories very well.

4/5 one of the best in this series

A heist creates all new types of tension, drama and action for the plot let alone the romance. Kingston Wilde was manipulated into the world of art theft, but after being betrayed by his mentor and lover he met Dirk Falcon FBI agent in charge of hunting down King and other art thieves.

Whilst we only had glimpses of the rambunctious Wilde family and Hobie locals, it was a marvellously paced plot, with a great FBI team ensemble cast. I did love the battle of trust for both Falcon and King, but also the generosity and care they showed each other.

Ridiculous plot, but thankfully the epilogue didn't make me want to throw my kindle for once. Maybe I'm back in on this series? We'll see.

3.5 rounded down

Licking Thicket is
shite. How's this so much sexy,
silly, swoony fun?

There was so much going on in this one...and unfortunately I didn’t really like most of it.

I only finished reading it because it wasn’t the last book in the series and I wanted to see if Cal was in it somehow...he wasn’t

King Me is book seven in the Forever Wilde series. Forever Wilde is an MM romance series that follows the Wilde family and their journeys to their HEA.

King is a skilled art thief but after a close call he changes tactics and heads home to Hobie. Only to be roped back into the world by the FBI agent who hunted him.

King and Falcon have great chemistry. This is possibly one of the only theft heist books like this that I've read and I really enjoyed the changed up of story plot to the other reads that are in Lucy's series.

This series really does cover all the tropes and offers a different path or story for each family member.
