King and Falcon - catching a thief and then falling for him

Oh the swoons and the angst in this one. This is an enemies to lovers, art heist, cop falling for the cat burglar romance of all the twisty feelings. It is filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love - one minute I was snort laughing, the next I was swooning, then gasping, then cringing, and then I was crying. King is secretly a famous art thief who recently decided to give up his life of crime. Falcon is the FBI agent who has been hunting him for years. Now they have to work together to get a priceless artifact back. King and Falcon’s HEA starts with an uneasy truce and it’s a roller coaster ride for them to get there while dealing with painful pasts, all the mistrust, and slimy exes. This was a swoony, hilarious, fun, sweet, steamy, heart warming story with a bit of angst. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, side splitting hilarity, tearful scenes, character missteps and growth plus all the heart squeezing love. As always, I am ready to dive into the next book in the series.

Here's the story of the art thief that almost gets caught by the agent assigned to stop him. Of course, they meet, find each other attractive, but the twists and turns make this a fun read.

KING OF THIEVES!!! BABE!!!! HOLY another hit out of the park.

This was ridiculous and very entertaining but it is not a romance - it's a heist/revenge adventure with a side of sex/feelings.

Very reminiscent of White Collar and Matt Bomer's character...

I really loved this couple together. The story had a lot of ridiculous moments, but those only niggled when putting the book down.
Spoiler
If the US has the real crown, why bother stealing the forged one?

The FBI chooses to an illegal high risk B&E in the Hungarian Parliament with a priceless artefact on them because? Well, because calling Hungary there was a mix-up with the real crown, the minute they found out, would be humiliating ?

The Hungarians don't know the crown is a forgery because, I suppose, they had no expert checking him out after they received him following theft and unknown travel circumstances. Let me tell you, every museum object is always checked by an expert before and after every transport.

And Elek meets the police and sais: "Hi, I have a forgery here and King Wilde made and sold it. " How is that a thread? How is he gonna prove his statement?

How do you push a tie-wrap through its minuscule slit with only one hand free?

How do you stick a tie-wrap through a grid in the floor, and make the low end curl up again for you to close it?

And this is just off the top of my head.

It was kind of fun, even though it had several elements I don't really enjoy in romance books. It's kind of a heist / romance story, and I needed to flex my suspension of disbelief muscle a bit, but ultimately it was okay.
