Just FYI, editing kinda slacks off by a third in, leaving me to grouse and snarl about things like Very Stupid Character Thoughts, borked timelines, and a plot pothole or three.
It does have one of the better 'separation' scenes I've had the pleasure to read. All the emotional beats are there. Obviously the author knows how to craft a romance. I enjoyed these characters. I recal being bored by early books in this series and not getting past the e-samples. While I don't regret reading this. If it had gotten a better edit, I might be tempted to read more in the series, but it's annoying, editing as I read. I'd rather save that for my own writing.

4-4.5 stars
Yes this is my current favorite Wilde book! It can totally be read on its own!
King and Falcon (Dirk is such a bad name for him) were great together, this whole book had everything I was looking for from this author! It wasn’t sex right away they had to actually work together and idk it worked for me for them to build a connection first rather than just go straight in to the sack. Don’t get me wrong there’s still plenty of sex but it wasn’t the main focus.
I might go back and read Doc and Grampas book but we will see, seeing as I can jump around who knows who’s book is next haha so happy this one was a winner!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/6.
🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.
I got this one when it was free and the blurb seemed like fun. I was not wrong!
I like the fact that this was between an FBI agent and an art thief. It was a cat and mouse type game for awhile until Falcon needed King's help in finding a very precious artifact that was stolen which may or may not cause war if fallen in the wrong hands.
I loved the group of agents Falcon had on his team and I liked how King fit in.
I liked the mission and how the story was paced. I obviously loved Falcon & King together especially with how grumpy Falcon was at first.
I'm interested in King's family so I will go back and read them at some point.

So good!! First of all the writing was impeccable, truly amazing. Just the way this story developed was so structured and thought out I was in shock. Although I struggled through the first quarter, the book eventually turned out to be a fantastic, hilarious and incredibly enjoyable read.
This book is fantastic in its own right without having to play on the overused and cliche tropes commonly associated with M/M readings, creating an authentic and original feel to the book while still maintaining those familiar tidbits that are well-known and well-loved.
Both characters were distinct but lovable, and side characters were given firm plots and character personalities that help well round the book.
I had many good laughs throughout and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone considering reading.

Wow, this was so freaking good.
I loved the dynamic between the two.
King’s vulnerability and Falcon’s openness really made this story for me.
The heist theme is one of my favorites and this was done so well.
You can see the author’s improvement in the last few books of this series. Amazing.

This story was definitely fun and engaging. It centres around a world-class art thief, King, and the FBI agent, Falcon, who has been trying to catch him for five years. However, a very important item has been stolen by King's former partner, and Falcon is now forced to make a deal with King that will grant the thief immunity for all his past crimes if he agrees to work together with the FBI to retrieve the stolen item.
There is a lot of sexual tension between them, but also tons of mistrust and second-guessing, which eventually results in a relationship that keeps you interested throughout but doesn't have enough emotional depth to make you feel truly invested.
All in all, the heist stuff but also the dynamic between (former) thief and special agent was all pretty entertaining, and so, even if there were definitely some flaws within the storytelling, I had fun with it.

Seeing the high ratings, maybe it's a me thing but something about the writing made me skipped a lot. I didn't care much for the characters and just wanted to know where the plot was going. I didn't hate it nor did I like it. Guess you should give it a try if you'd like an MM going on a heist.
