I quite enjoyed this book. The writing style was a bit different than I'm used to, but it made sense for the plot/main character. The only issue I had was with the letters Christopher gets from his mother. The writing in the letters seemed very rudimentary and I would've liked it to be a little less like the narrative of the story. But towards the end I couldn't put it down and stayed up later than I intended to finish it. And that's a sign of a good book to me.
