I thought it was about the fight that Nick and Charlie have later in Solitaire, and not the argument Charlie has with his mom, but that's my mistake for misremembering what they said in their journal entries in Vol 4. So I was prepared for it to be super sad, but it wasn't <i> that <i> sad. I teared up and got a little emotional at one point, but it didn't hit me too hard in the feels.
It was still a nice read and insight into what happened over Christmas, and I liked that we got to see Tori's point of view too.

CW: mention of eating disorder (anorexia), mention of homophobia
I meant to read this over Christmas but as it is a stressful holiday I did not manage to so I read it now. It was super short and quick and easy to read and the various illustrations and text exchanges made the story fly by. I really enjoyed it although I thought there could have been a little more content.
I adore the Spring siblings and Nick and the dogs so so much and even though this story isn't 100% happy, I still thought it was very cozy and made me feel warm inside.
